Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for electrical construction projects in energy infrastructure. You will coordinate internal and external resources to safely deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required specifications, while participating in developing project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and delivery solutions.

This role requires travel up to 60%, strong presentation and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple large projects.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• Five years’ project management experience in electrical construction.
• Experience evaluating costs and scope for electrical projects.
• Ability to manage multiple large projects.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external resources to safely deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required specifications.
• Participate in developing project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, designs, and delivery solutions.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Provide project status reporting on milestone progress, risk management, and current and forecast financial performance.
• Perform in-person site visits to project sites as needed.
• Participate in progress meetings with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and the Business Unit Vice President.
• Monitor, mitigate, and communicate project complexities to the Business Unit Vice President.
• Manage dependencies, risks, schedules, costs, and resourcing for projects with leadership across teams.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams across Energy and Mobility projects.
