TYLin in Newark seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead aviation infrastructure programs in the northeast. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with airport authorities, public agencies and contractors through planning, design, construction and closeout.

The role suits an owner’s representative or construction program professional who excels at managing complex stakeholder environments and delivering major capital programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Approximately 10+ years of progressively responsible experience managing large capital infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex public-sector capital programs.
  • Strong background in construction management, project controls, budgeting and scheduling.
  • Experience administering consultant and construction contracts.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, change management and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex aviation infrastructure projects throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, designers, contractors, regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk registers and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and architectural teams for delivery.
  • Oversee procurement activities, consultant and contractor management, and contract administration.
  • Review and negotiate change orders, cost estimates, payment applications and forecasts.
  • Monitor construction activities to meet quality, safety, schedule and budget objectives.
  • Lead project meetings and prepare executive-level reports for client leadership.
  • Coordinate permitting, utility coordination and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support procurement strategies including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build and alternative delivery.
  • Mentor junior project managers and technical staff; foster collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term growth.

Job Summary

TYLin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Aviation team in the northeast. This role provides the opportunity to lead the delivery of some of the region's most complex airport and transportation infrastructure programs, working alongside airport authorities, public agencies, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of$160,000 - $200,000 annually for this position and local market.
