Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd is hiring a Project Manager for Seating Production to coordinate local industrialization activities for the new seat program, align with the Global Project Leader, and support schedule, cost, quality and scope.

You will manage readiness, provide transparency on progress, risks, and actions, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Swiss counterparts to optimize knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in project management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in industrialization, production ramp-up, manufacturing engineering, or operations.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of APQP, Lean Manufacturing, and Value Stream Mapping principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and track project plans, milestones, risks, items, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Organize and lead project status meetings with timely follow-up of actions.
• Support production and industrialization processes for future serial production.
• Interface between PilUSA and Pilatus Switzerland on seat program activities.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and best-practice sharing between Switzerland and the USA.
