Job summary

Milsco-LL is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve seating product processes, including sewn covers, with cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, quality, and operations. You’ll drive root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and robust documentation for production launches and ongoing manufacturing support.

You will work with vinyl, leather, fabric, and other soft goods, applying cutting, upholstery, and assembly methods, while leveraging PFMEA, control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years in manufacturing/process engineering or production support.
• Experience with vinyl, leather, textiles, sewn covers, foam/trim components, seat assemblies.
• Strong analytical/technical problem solving and data-driven decisions.
• Lean/Six Sigma methods and root-cause analysis experience.
• Pattern making, sewing, and upholstery experience preferred or willing to learn.
• Experience developing work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, tooling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for seating products with sewn covers.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Create and maintain work instructions, BOMs, routings, PFMEAs and control plans.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Support launch readiness, pilot builds, and production ramp-ups.
