GE Vernova is seeking a Project Manager Specialist to plan and execute contracts, managing Quality, Cost, and Delivery, ensuring on-time delivery per terms and maximizing gross margin. The role collaborates with Sales, Finance, and operations across a regional client base.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or a high school diploma equivalent with at least 3 years of project management experience or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management.

Responsibilities

  • Non-supervisory role that is responsible for customer project management.
  • Works with diverse clients in a region.
  • Assumes ownership of orders at transfer by Sales after review.
  • Defines action plans to resolve outstanding issues at order transfer.
  • Reports gross margin of orders booked.
  • Ensures contract delivery & performance meets contractual requirements.
  • Manages contract review and risk & opportunities management.
  • Performs project reviews and risk management in line with business guidelines.
  • Monitors the budget and identifies opportunities for raising claims when the customer deviates from contract terms.
  • Manages receivables and invoices customers in line with milestones.
  • Improves cash i/o and reduces overdues in line with business objectives.
  • E&C coordination including forecasting resources for E&C and invoicing E&C services.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and addresses priority responses to build confidence.
  • Coordinates with customer care to resolve warranty issues promptly.
  • Manages disputes with proper dialogue.
  • Plans productive time for customers during FAT visits.
  • Measures performance using key criteria.

Job Description Summary

As a Project Manager Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing contracts starting from the transfer meeting to managing the Quality, Cost, and Delivery of the entire execution process by ensuring on‑time delivery according to contractual terms, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and controlling and improving the Gross Margin and cash related to contracts.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Non‑supervisory role that is responsible for customer project management.
  • Works with diverse clients in a region.
  • Works on the basis of predefined contracts and frameworks, including order transfer and review.
  • Assumes ownership of orders at transfer by Sales after review.
  • Defines action plans to resolve outstanding issues at order transfer.
  • Reports gross margin of orders booked.
  • Ensures contract delivery & performance meets contractual requirements (technical specification, scope, and time of delivery).
  • Manages contract review and risk & opportunities management.
  • Performs project reviews and risk management in line with business guidelines.
  • Monitors the budget and identifies opportunities for raising claims when the customer deviates from contract terms & specification.
  • Manages receivables.
  • Invoices customers in line with contractual milestones.
  • Improves cash i/o and reduces overdues in line with business objectives.
  • E&C (Erection & Commissioning) coordination, including forecasting resources for E&C and invoicing E&C services.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and addresses priority customer responses to build confidence in the organization.
  • Coordinates with customer care to resolve warranty issues promptly.
  • Manages disputes (delays, cancellations, scope changes) with proper dialogue.
  • Plans productive time for customers during FAT visits.
  • Measures performance using criteria such as time to acknowledge order, engineering time, customer on‑time delivery, margin slippage, manufacturing freeze period adherence, claims acceptance, invoicing timing, overdue percentages, and FAT completion.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Business, or a high school diploma equivalent with at least 3 years of project management experience or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management.

Relocation Assistance Provided: No

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $87,000.00 and $145,000.00. The Company may pay a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
