Job summary

Dibble is seeking a Project Engineer (Utilities) in Tucson, AZ to design water and wastewater infrastructure, including wells, distribution, and storage facilities. You will prepare construction plans, specs, and technical studies while guiding a small design team and coordinating with clients and subconsultants.

You will apply hydraulic analysis, profile design, and survey/right-of-way considerations, mentor CAD designers, and contribute to project schedules, budgets, and marketing proposals.

Qualifications

• Must have a B.S. degree in Engineering, Civil preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Arizona or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans, technical specifications, technical studies and reports.
• Lead/Organize/and Manage small teams of personnel (EIT, designers, and drafters).
• Provide quality reviews of own work and work by EITs/designers.
• Assist project manager in preparing and managing project schedules and budgets.
• Attend and participate in client meetings.
• Assist in developing marketing proposals (prepare technical understanding and approach).
• Assist in construction administration of projects, including reviewing and responding to contractor material submittals, RFI's and change order requests.
• Evaluate company practices and provide input for continuous improvement.
