Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Project Engineer to manage the administrative and technical aspects of construction, leading field and cost engineers and serving as the information conduit between the construction manager and the team for cost, revenue and cash flow information.

The role involves mentoring engineers, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring safety and quality on projects across the Southeast District. This full-time position offers relocation opportunities as work dictates.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 5+ years of construction/engineering experience.
• Experience managing engineers.
• Ability to travel/relocate.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling of the project: create, maintain, and monitor the schedule.
• Track revenue, costs, and cash flow to meet targets.
• Provide engineering oversight for temporary works.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with project requirements.
• Lead project closeout with final documentation and approvals.
• Maintain client relations and assist in operations planning.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts.
