Job summary

Kiewit's Southern California District seeks a Project Engineer to manage the administrative and technical aspects of construction, lead field and cost engineers, and serve as the main conduit of information between the construction manager and the team on cost, revenue and cash flow.

Based in Santa Fe Springs, CA with relocation assistance and per diem, you will grow through exposure to diverse heavy civil projects across the region and nationwide.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' work experience in construction or engineering.
• Experience managing engineers.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong ethics, safety mindset, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the project and manage timelines.
• Oversee revenue, cost, and cash flow reporting.
• Coordinate temporary engineering tasks.
• Manage design, quality control and project closeout.
• Build and maintain client relations.
• Assist in operations planning.
