Job summary

L3Harris Spectral Solutions engineering team seeks a Lead Project Engineer to provide full lifecycle leadership across software and hardware development, integration, and test. From concept through sustainment, you’ll coordinate with program management, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to deliver outcomes.

The ideal candidate balances hands-on problem solving with strategic execution in a fast-paced, defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering; 9+ years related experience; graduate degree preferred.
• IPTL/CAM leadership experience in programs; cost/schedule/technical responsibility.
• Experience in satellite system development and integration, verification, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team to meet customer requirements within cost and schedule.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and technical aspects per program guidelines.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk with PM and customer input.
• Coordinate with resource managers and ensure reviews/approvals.
• Apply Earned Value concepts on a DCMA-surveilled program.
• Collaborate with program management, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
