Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical and scheduling aspects of our projects. You will coordinate daily with clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and field staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include supporting project managers in scoping, take-offs, submittals, and developing detailed schedules; monitoring deliveries and change proposals; and helping prepare turnover documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in engineer/project engineer in construction
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination
• Ability reading drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers on scoping and take-offs
• Prepare and forward submittals; confirm submittal complies with plans/specs
• Support the development and updating of the project schedule and subcontractor detail schedules
• Play a lead role in the development of project plans
• Monitor and expedite material deliveries ensuring all deliveries conform with the project schedule
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate
• Facilitate with the Project Manager and Superintendent in the coordination of drawings
• Draft change orders; solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers; perform scope take-off and estimate costs
• Lead close out of project; assemble manuals and warranties for turnover to owner; prepare final payment docs
• Develop and lead training sessions for your team and trade partners
