Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to drive the technical scope and schedule of a live project. You will coordinate daily with clients, trade partners, engineers, and architects, ensuring accuracy, resources, and quality throughout the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration in purchasing, submittals, scheduling, and cost estimation, with a hands-on approach to site coordination and document management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years experience as an engineer, project engineer, or similar role in construction.
• Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications; proficient with MS Office/Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals; ensure compliance with plans/specs.
• Support development and updating of project schedules and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead development of project plans and monitor material deliveries to align with the schedule.
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate.
• Draft change orders and solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Perform scope take-off and estimate costs; assist in project close-out and turnover documents.
• Develop and lead training sessions for the team and trade partners.
