Job summary

Babcock Power is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering activities on fossil fuel utility power projects, ensuring compliance with codes and contract specs. You will work with the project manager, planner, sub-contract manager, design leads, and engineers to deliver high-quality technical documents.

You will develop scope, manage resources, coordinate with clients and suppliers, and drive schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience leading design on fossil fuel utility power plants / power projects.
• Experience as engineering manager or design/build coordination on large power projects.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Primavera P6v7.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities on assigned projects and ensure compliance with codes and contract specs.
• Collaborate with project manager, planner, sub-contract manager, design leads and engineers.
• Develop scope, manage resources, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for the project.
