Job summary

Babcock Power is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead design, analyses and startup of control and electrical systems for complex projects in the energy sector. You will plan and execute engineering tasks, provide accurate estimates, and coordinate with clients, vendors and project teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 8+ years experience, and deep knowledge of NFPA/NEC and relevant standards, with strong communication and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years experience in control and electrical systems design and startup.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Knowledge of NFPA/NEC, UL, IEEE, ISA, IEC codes.
• Experience with ETAP or SKM and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design, analyses and calculations for projects.
• Develop proposal strategy and estimate labor and materials.
• Attend project and client meetings; monitor vendor work.
• Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with project team and clients to achieve outcomes.
• Specify and oversee electrical system design for proposals and projects.
