Job summary

Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is seeking talented Project Engineers to join the Houston Briarpark office. You will support the Project Manager in planning, organizing and controlling project scopes, schedules and budgets for design projects in the process and power industries.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or Renewable Energy, with strong communication and coordination skills to work across disciplines and with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management or as a discipline engineer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to collaborate with overseas centers and multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and controlling assigned project aspects.
• Prepare schedules and budgets for small projects and update as needed.
• Assist in cost estimates for additional work or changes in contracts.
• Coordinate engineering activities across disciplines and offices.
• Review drawings for consistency with work scope and input from disciplines.
