Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 4+ years in related field.
• Experience managing low to moderately complex product development projects.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over multiple low to moderately complex engineering projects.
• Develop comprehensive plans and schedules to meet milestones.
• Coordinate planning efforts for low to moderate complexity projects and identify risks with supervision.
• Monitor progress and report status on schedule, cost, and risks to management.
• Frame technical tradeoffs with product management across Cost, Schedule, and Performance.
• Escalate issues timely when needed.
• Apply Product Development Process knowledge from concept to launch.
• Interpret data and make design recommendations using simulations, materials choices, tolerances, dynamics, and NVH analysis.
• Collaborate with suppliers to meet performance/cost specs within capabilities.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, Product Management and others to drive tasks.
• Coordinate qualification testing to ensure safety, durability, and performance.
