Job summary

Innova Engineered Plastics is seeking a Project Engineer to manage customer and internal engineering projects from kickoff through delivery. The role combines strong project management with a solid technical foundation, reviewing drawings and requirements to drive scope, schedule, and budget to target quality.

The ideal candidate reads technical drawings confidently and communicates clearly with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (required).
• 2–4 years of experience in project engineering, project management, or manufacturing engineering (required).
• Experience in plastics, machining, aerospace, medical, or other highly engineered product environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver on time and to quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and sales.
• Review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements for feasibility and identify risks.
• Maintain progress updates with customers and leadership on risks and changes.
• Support quoting and RFQ reviews by evaluating technical requirements and manufacturing considerations.
• Manage engineering change requests and project documentation.
