Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation seeks a Project Engineer – Electrification to lead an engineering team and drive continuous improvement across disciplines. You will conduct high‑level analysis, design or redesign, validation and troubleshooting of electrical systems for heavy‑duty vehicles, ensuring successful integration with vehicle control and embedded systems.

You will guide engineers, collaborate with suppliers, and manage complex projects, balancing technical excellence with schedule and budget

Qualifications

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering with five or more years of related experience.
Experience in high voltage systems for heavy‑duty vehicles is preferred.
Strong communication and leadership abilities for mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead an engineering team of engineers, designers, and technicians.
Direct planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the engineering team.
Provide coaching and development through performance feedback and training.
Prepare and control department budget and forecast operating costs.
Collaborate with internal/external customers and suppliers.
Perform complex engineering calculations and design reviews.
Guide entry level engineers and update standard engineering practices.
Ensure on-time completion of projects within budget and scope.
