Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to serve as the engineering Customer Liaison for the HTF7000 business‑jet engine program in Phoenix. You’ll lead technical meetings, drive design changes, and connect customer needs with the right engineering experts to keep programs moving.

You will communicate SRDs, manage cross‑functional teams, and help shape propulsion technology while upholding FAA certifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum 8 years of design, development and/or test of gas turbine engines or related systems.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methods (MS Project, Agile/Scrum Kanban, EVM).

Responsibilities

• Manage technical communications and coordination meetings with OEM customers.
• Deliver clear technical recommendations to executive leadership and customers.
• Plan, schedule and execute development and sustainment projects to meet scope, schedule and cost.
• Provide day-to-day leadership of cross-functional engineering teams through design, analysis, test, certification and production.
• Collaborate with aircraft OEMs to define requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Drive root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions for issues.
• Identify risks and opportunities and lead mitigation strategies.
