Job summary

Eaton Aerospace Fuel Motion Control division seeks a Lead Project Engineer – New Product Development to design and optimize hydraulic actuation components for aerospace. The role collaborates with IPTs across engineering functions to drive design, analysis, and realization of new products from concept to production.

The candidate will lead technical decisions, develop engineering drawings (ASME standards), and mentor peers, while maintaining schedule, cost, and quality targets in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum five (5) years of Mechanical and Project Engineering in product design.
Experience with 3D CAD software.
Willingness to work on ITAR-controlled hardware.

Responsibilities

Provide technical design, analysis, and guidance for new product development.
Lead cross‑functional IPT teams on product designs and improvements.
Manage multiple projects with schedules and budgets.
Develop design standards, drawings, test procedures, and reports.
Coach and mentor other engineers and ensure process compliance.
