Job summary

Mitrelli Group Services AG is seeking an experienced Project Director for the M’banza Congo Centrality initiative in Angola. You will lead complex civil infrastructure delivery, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely, on-budget completion with rigorous safety and quality standards.

The role requires 15+ years in senior infrastructure roles, strong contract and claims management, and fluency in Portuguese; English is an advantage. International project experience in Africa is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory. Master’s degree is a strong advantage. PMP Certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of civil infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Oversee contract negotiation and management, including subcontractor agreements and change orders.
• Direct on-site and off-site construction activities, ensuring HSE compliance and quality.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and resource plans; mentor project managers and engineers.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and coordinate permitting and procurement.
