Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Project Development Engineer to act as a technical resource for the DI sales team during pre-sale development of scope, costing, and applications. The role supports post-sale activities as part of the project management team.

Responsibilities include developing electrical concepts, coordinating with sales and engineering, and ensuring design intent is met across turnkey and specialty projects. A BS in engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required in electrical, mechanical, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in electrical consultancy, application/development roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical resource for DI sales in pre-sale development of scope, costing, and application.
• Remain involved post-sale as system technical resource within project management team.
• Communicate with Sales, engineering, and production to ensure shared project understanding.
