Job summary

Perkins&Will in New York is seeking architects to drive design excellence from concept through development. You will lead schematic design, coordinate with consultants, and prepare client presentations while aligning with budgets and schedules. A strong emphasis on BIM, code compliance, and collaboration across teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline is required.
• LEED GA within 6 months of hire is preferred.
• Professional accreditation in Living Design areas is desirable.
• Preparing for ARE and active involvement in AXP is expected.

Responsibilities

• Understands and consistently executes all aspects of the design process and project complexities.
• Prepares schematic designs and presentation drawings, models, and narratives.
• Understands project goals, client values, budgets, and schedules.
• Evaluates design alternatives based on site and code requirements.
• Applies knowledge of materials, costs, methods, and code to design.
• Prepares client packages, publications, and award submissions.
• Coordinates with partners and consultants through schematic and design development.
• Mentors staff and inspires high performance and design ideas.
