Job summary

Job Juncture is conducting a confidential search for a Project Architect in the Albany, NY area, offering broad responsibilities from programming through construction. You will lead architectural work, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Architect (or near licensure) with 5–10+ years of experience, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and a track record in municipal and federal projects.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect or actively progressing toward registration
• 5–10+ years of broad architectural experience across multiple project phases
• Experience with municipal and federal projects preferred

Responsibilities

• Support and lead architectural projects from initial programming through design and construction
• Prepare architectural assessments, facility studies, feasibility studies, and programming reports
• Evaluate existing buildings and document architectural conditions and recommendations
• Perform building code reviews for new and existing facilities
• Develop architectural drawings, details, and construction documents
• Work in Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate with structural, engineering, drafting, specialty consultant, and other project disciplines
• Serve as a lead architect on multidisciplinary assignments as experience and project needs warrant
• Contribute to project planning, coordination, and management
• Communicate effectively with project team members, consultants, and stakeholders
• Help guide and mentor less-experienced team members
• Maintain hands-on technical and production involvement while taking on increasing project ownership
• Prepare clear, professional technical reports and written documentation
