Job summary

Heitler Houstoun Architects is an award-winning Manhattan-based architecture and interior design studio seeking an experienced Project Architect / Manager to join our growing team. The role focuses on ground-up residential or commercial projects, requiring strong architectural, zoning, site planning, and project management skills in the New York City area.

7–10 years of experience and licensure pursuit preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional architecture experience.
• Licensed or pursuing licensure in NY.
• Based in the NYC area or willing to relocate soon.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases from pre-design to close-out.
• Coordinate with zoning, grading, and site utilities.
• Prepare construction document sets and building sections.
• Review RFI, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Mentor junior staff and manage client relations.

Education

5-year B.Arch or M.Arch

Licensed or pursuing licensure
