Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Washington Works site in Washington, WV. The role leads a shift team of 18–25 Operators, reporting to the Power & Services Operations Manager. Working a Mon-Fri day shift, you ensure safe, reliable utility and service supply to the plant and drive continuous improvement.

You will partner with Operations, HR, and maintenance to train, coach, and develop staff, while upholding high performance and regulatory standards across the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Greater than 5 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage a large operations work force in a high hazard environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word/Excel); able to learn new systems.
• Time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and oversee operations to ensureSafety, Health and Environmental compliance.
• Perform and oversee compliance activities and reporting.
• Establish high-performance standards in housekeeping, attendance, discipline, work permits and SAP usage.
• Develop reports through coaching and performance reviews.
• Address performance gaps with training or progressive discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement and organizational health across the site.
• Respond to incidents in a timely manner and document investigations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and assist root cause analysis.
