Job summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production and assembly for workstation cranes and material‑handling systems. You will assign work, coordinate labor and materials, and ensure on‑time order fulfillment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in an operations field and 5+ years of supervising hourly production teams in manufacturing or material handling environments. ERP/MRP and MS Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production supervision.
• Demonstrated experience leading hourly production teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production and assembly work for workstation cranes and related systems.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor product quality and adherence to engineering standards and specs.
• Ensure safe operation of tools and equipment and reinforce safety protocols.
• Conduct start-up meetings, train and coach team members, and support continuous improvement.
