Job summary

Columbus McKinnon Corporation is a leading manufacturer of intelligent motion solutions and lifting equipment. The Supervisor, Production oversees manufacturing to ensure the assembly of high-quality parts at the lowest cost, while meeting quality standards, performance, and delivery requirements.

The role requires strong Lean manufacturing experience and a background in supervising production teams, with emphasis on cost control, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or 5+ years manufacturing leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and supervise production functions.
• Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet schedules and interpret drawings.
• Participate on cross-functional teams to improve processes, productivity and quality while reducing costs.
• Analyze and resolve production problems or assist workers in solving them.
• Inspect products prior to shipping to verify conformance to specifications when required.
• Keep management informed on conditions that could impact quality, cost, safety or morale.
