Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Production Supervisor for its Corporate Headquarters in Moberly, MO. The role oversees shift-level execution of the production schedule, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are met daily.

You will lead Team Leads, monitor line performance, enforce safety, and coordinate with quality, engineering, and support functions to resolve issues in real time.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience with 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or discrete manufacturing domains.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities for assigned shift/line, ensuring schedule attainment and safe operation.
• Lead and coach Team Leads, providing direction on staffing and daily priorities.
• Monitor line performance (scrap, downtime) and take corrective action in real time.
• Enforce safety procedures; conduct safety walks and near-miss reporting.
• Partner with quality to address defects and containment activities on the floor.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping, and staffing adjustments (overtime, line balancing).
• Communicate shift handoffs clearly to the incoming supervisor/shift.
• Support changeovers, new product introductions, and engineering trials.
• Escalate material shortages or equipment downtime to the Production Manager.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching for Team Leads and hourly staff.
• Ensure compliance with standard work, work instructions, and ISO 9001 on shift.
• Participate in daily production meetings and report shift performance.
