Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or 5–10 years of manufacturing supervision experience.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing assembly environment.
• 1–3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with a health and safety management system.
• Demonstrated ability to plan for 30/60 days ahead.
• Experience using ERP/MRP and timekeeping software in manufacturing.
• Experience in training and development.
• Machining/assembly background.
• Ability to work 2nd shift.
• Preferred: 5 years managing 15+ employees; 10 years in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Understand the organization’s support functions to coordinate with the production team.
• Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
• Ensure contributions from each department reach the products, ensuring high quality and safety.
• Manage employees to ensure healthy employee relations, safety, productivity, and quality.
• Provide coaching and development to staff.
• Collaborate with HR to resolve issues and make employment decisions as needed.
• Use Good to Go to monitor daily department activities.
• Investigate accidents and suggest EH&S improvements.
• Track absenteeism, vacations, and timesheets weekly for direct reports.
• Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
