Job summary

Adient Northwood is seeking a Shift Supervisor to coordinate manufacturing and shipping of quality seats. You will lead the Production Team to drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement across the assembly process.

The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline and a proactive approach to problem solving, with daily interaction with the Customer Liaison and site leadership. Location: Northwood, OH.

Qualifications

• Leads and motivates the Production Team to maintain safety, quality and productivity.
• Maintains knowledge of quality standards aligned with Adient's 'Quality Producer' standards.
• Analyzes production processes to identify improvements for quality and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material build schedule for area teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safe working practices.
• Maintain an orderly flow of product through assembly lines.
• Record process changes and notify superiors of deviations.
• Provide recognition and coaching to team members.
• Investigate and resolve interpersonal or performance issues.
• Ensure safety and a clean work environment; conduct root-cause analyses.
