QuidelOrtho is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the execution of the production schedule, deploy resources, and ensure compliance with quality systems. This onsite role in Carlsbad, CA, requires 4–7 years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and manufacturing-process knowledge to drive cost efficiencies and on-time delivery.

The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data accuracy, and adherence to policies while supporting continuous improvement and workforce development.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years' experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to manage a diverse team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with word processing, Excel and email.
• Ability to align performance with corporate goals.
• Excellent problem-solving, integrity and judgment.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Flexibility in a changing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with all quality system requirements and procedures including accurate and timely completion of all documentation relating to calibration, equipment validation, process validation, training, and device history records.
• Ensures products are provided to customers on time and that product yield, operating costs, and process efficiencies are achieved.
• Manages manpower and capital resources to meet production plan within budget.
• Develops and implements cross-functional preventative and corrective actions.
• Works with leaders to develop performance measures and monitoring methods related to equipment utilization and efficiency, manufacturing efficiency, manpower utilization and budget adherence.
• Identifies, analyzes, and implements corrective actions as needed to ensure standard costs are met.
• Provide technical expertise, problem solving and organizational skills in the analysis of activities in the department.
• Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned
