Job summary

Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor for Weekday 2nd Shift. You will own the shift: safety, quality, and output, set the pace, assign work, and train the team operating saws and handling equipment.

You will lead, coach, and enforce standards, ensuring a smooth handoff to the next shift lead. This full-time, in-person role is based in Detroit, within a metal-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a factory or metals environment.
• Strong communication and accountability for safety.
• Ability to train staff and manage production on schedule.
• Able to operate heavy equipment and lifts up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift team to meet safety, quality, and output targets.
• Assign work, set priorities, and maintain the production schedule.
• Train and coach team members on equipment, safety, and software.
• Enforce PPE and safety rules; stop unsafe work and report incidents.
• Run a clean handoff to the next shift lead.
• Operate saws, CNC, and handling equipment to cut and inspect aluminum to spec.
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes; training provided.
• Record cut data and job completions in our software systems accurately.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
