Job summary

Divergent in Los Angeles seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations across CNC machining, robotic assembly, and finishing lines. You will manage technicians, allocate resources, and ensure schedules, quality, and safety are met.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years of experience in a people leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and production-tracking tools preferred.
• Willingness to spend time on the production floor coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across CNC machining, part cleaning, robotic assembly, and automated lines.
• Lead a team of technicians and leads to meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Plan and allocate resources (labor, equipment, materials) to meet short- and long-term goals.
• Monitor and troubleshoot process issues with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime.
• Drive process improvements with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers and support DFx initiatives.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and workforce development to promote accountability and growth.
• Maintain documentation of production activities, downtime, and maintenance logs.
• Contribute to capital planning and 5S, continuous improvement initiatives.
