Job summary

Shasta Beverages, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to provide production leadership for the 2nd shift (5PM-5AM) and ensure safe, efficient operation of processing equipment for quality products in a carbonated soft drinks facility.

The role includes coaching staff, coordinating across shifts, monitoring product quality, and leading investigations to resolve manufacturing issues while enforcing GMPs and safety practices in a multi-location environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a consumer packaged goods facility.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing of carbonated soft drinks over a multi-shift, multi-lingual operation.
• Directly manages all daily activities and long term objectives of their department, in conjunction with managers across shifts or departments.
• Coach and influence employees under their supervision.
• Provide supervision for one to three shifts, in a seven day working environment.
• Monitor overall quality of the product by performing periodic inspections.
• Independently perform all assignments after being given general instructions as to the results expected.
• Lead and initiate resolution of technical, unusual or complex problems or issues.
• Ensure the overall safety of several crews and temporary labor when applicable.
• Provide supervision to staff that may extend across more than one location, shift or building.
• Conduct thorough investigations to identify and eliminate root causes of manufacturing problems.
• Assist in instilling the 'Best Manufacturing Practices'.
• Ensure staff is following work rules and GMP compliance.
