Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • 3 years of professional stage management experience.
  • Education (required): B.A. or B.F.A. in theatre, with an emphasis in stage management or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage the timeline and communication of all productions to the production team.
  • Schedule and run all productions; be the onsite supervisor during tech and production weeks.
  • Create and reconcile production season budget; manage contracts and invoices; complete required paperwork.
  • Assign student stage managers to productions and meet regularly to ensure readiness.
  • Serve as the professional stage manager when a student SM is not available.
  • Coordinate with related departments to ensure collaborative events throughout the year.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
