Job summary

PEMEX Deer Park is seeking a Lead Production Specialist – Sulfur to serve as the primary technical expert for multiple units at the Deer Park refinery. The role supports HS&E objectives, reliability, and cash performance while ensuring process safety workflows are followed and documented.

The position requires strong leadership to guide shift teams, coordinate with cross-functional groups, and participate in short- and long-term planning.

Qualifications

• Must be legal to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• 10+ years of refinery/petrochemical operations experience.
• Experience operating sulfur plants and amine gas treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical subject matter expert for SR-3/4/5/6/7/8, ARU-6/7, SWS-2, and Girbotol units.
• Provide daily guidelines for operating team (24/7) and plan outages.
• Develop training materials and mentor operators and PTLs.
