Job summary

Deer Park Refining Limited Partnership (DPRLP) known as PEMEX Deer Park in Deer Park, TX, seeks an Operations Support Engineer 1 for Distilling Unit 1. You will provide technical support, monitor performance, and collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, and Technical Services to ensure safe and profitable operations.

Role involves backfill coverage across multiple production areas, participating in turnarounds, and contributing to long-term refinery improvements in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering required.
• 0–5 years of process engineering experience in oil and gas.
• Familiarity with refinery processes and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Distilling Unit 1 daily.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance for safe operations.
• Support turnaround work scopes and field execution.
• Assist in process monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvements.
