Job summary

Charter Casting in Shawano, WI, is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and develop employees in a safety-first, continuous-improvement environment.

You will drive productivity, quality, waste reduction, and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, quality, and engineering to meet production goals while fostering teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years manufacturing/related production experience.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow up on multiple responsibilities.
• Coaching, employee development, and team-building skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and shifts.
• Self-motivated with accountability and urgency.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production employees through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Foster a culture based on safety, accountability, teamwork, and respect.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth initiatives.
• Communicate expectations clearly and provide timely feedback and recognition.
• Promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals.
• Drive productivity, quality, and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering and other departments.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
