Job summary

The Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader to support daily departmental production operations. You will guide team members, optimize workflow, and assist with scheduling and materials coordination to ensure on-time, high-quality output.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, applying standards and 6S, mentoring new hires, and enforcing safety and quality policies while communicating across management, HR, and shop floor teams.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Associate or trade certificate related to the job function.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform and demonstrate key departmental tasks with a high level of proficiency.
• Provide daily feedback, coaching, and support to team members to enhance performance.
• Mentor and assist in training new employees.
• Monitor and adjust workflow to meet production schedules.
• Assist with inspections and ensure product quality before final release.
• Interact professionally with customers and customer representatives as needed.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including team members, management, and HR.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and 6S standards.
