Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Group Leader to support the Supervisor in overseeing daily departmental production operations. The role requires strong knowledge of processes and equipment, guiding the team, scheduling, and coordinating materials to ensure efficient output.

You will coach, mentor, and train team members, monitor workflow against schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to work overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance, on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform and demonstrate key departmental tasks with a high level of proficiency.
• Apply knowledge of standards, equipment, tools, and workflow to identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide daily feedback, coaching, and support to team members to enhance performance.
• Mentor and assist in training new employees.
• Monitor and adjust workflow to meet production schedules.
• Support and enforce production policies and procedures.
• Assign tasks and lead by example through hands-on work.
• Assist with inspections and ensure product quality before final release.
• Interact professionally with customers and customer representatives as needed.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including team members, management, and HR.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
