Job summary

Rebo in Sparta, TN is seeking a 1st Shift Production Automation Team Lead to oversee automation lines and supervise a team. You will participate in cross-functional collaboration to improve safety, quality and efficiency while maintaining production standards.

Ideal candidates have prior production experience, strong math and organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to training and development. This role involves overtime and lifting up to 30 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Must have good computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Previous production experience is required.
• Comfortable with overtime, including weekends when necessary.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to streamline processes for efficiency while maintaining safety and quality.
• Organized, efficient, and capable of prioritizing with minimal supervision.
• Excellent dexterity and attention to detail to meet customer specs the first time.
• Ability to perform essential functions, including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect the production of automotive lighting products, reinspecting work as needed.
• Assist the supervisor and lead multiple employees with a focus on the automation lines.
• Work closely with support groups and lead 6s projects.
• Train existing/new employees to high quality standards while ensuring safety.
• Work in PLEX and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate process improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Work under minimal supervision from the shift supervisor or management and assist with other tasks.
• May include scheduling OT, assigning employees, filling in for supervisor, and other duties as directed.
