Job summary

Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Production Assembly Supervisor in Rome City, IN. The role leads the assembly department, ensures production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality, and reports to the plant leadership.

The ideal candidate has hands-on assembly experience and strong people leadership skills. Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, planning work, monitoring output and quality, and driving continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production assembly
• Prior supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and BOMs
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production assembly team
• Plan and assign work to meet production schedules and customer demand
• Monitor production output, labor efficiency, and quality standards
• Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and quality concerns
• Train, coach, and develop assembly employees to improve performance and skills
• Enforce safety rules, procedures, and company policies
• Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, and Engineering as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area
• Provide performance feedback and support corrective action when necessary
