Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a Lead associate to supervise the production line in Rocky Mount, NC. The role reads production schedules, interprets orders, and coordinates the team to meet quality standards. It requires prior lead or assistant management experience, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to PPE policies.

The position offers day shifts Monday–Friday 6AM–6PM with a starting rate of $21.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the line and read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be gathered for production per quality standards and procedures.
• Establish priorities, provide direction, assign tasks, coordinate, and support the team to ensure productivity and instill initiative.
• Maintain high-level quality control within the department.
• Determine work assignments and equipment needs based on work orders and/or oral instructions.
• Complete daily logs.
• Wear the proper PPE.
• Have working knowledge of warehouse functions and operations.
• Must be able to take directions and multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.

Job Description

Starting Rate: $21.00/HR
