Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Lead Product Software Engineer to join the Content Platform Engineering team. You will build and operate content inspection pipelines that enable intelligent analysis of media assets at scale, applying computer vision and vision-language models to extract temporal metadata for automated workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in at least one core programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience designing and building distributed systems and APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native system design.
• Ability to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration in production.
• Experience with full lifecycle of app development including testing, reviews, and docs.
• Experience with a wide range of data store technologies.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
