Job summary

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Lead Product Software Engineer to join our Content Platform Engineering team, building and operating content inspection pipelines that enable intelligent analysis of media assets at scale.

In this role you will lead systems that apply computer vision and vision language models to video and image content, extracting fine-grained temporal metadata and powering automated inspection, validation, and enrichment workflows across Disney’s

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant industry experience.
Proficiency in Java or Python.
Experience designing distributed systems and APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native system design.
Translate product requirements and business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Experience with containerization and orchestration in production environments.
Experience in full lifecycle development with tests, reviews, and documentation.
Experience with a wide range of data stores.
Agile/Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities

Lead execution translating product and business requirements into technical solutions.
Write, test, and deploy high quality code for reliable software solutions.
Collaborate with platform engineers, product teams, and stakeholders.
Provide production support through on-call participation and remediation.
