Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Glendale, CA is seeking a skilled Product Software Engineer II to join the Content Platform Engineering team. You will help build and enhance platform capabilities for ingest and packaging workflows powering Disney+' and other brands.

You will develop backend and frontend solutions as part of a team, solving complex problems to fulfill, validate, package, and deliver assets and metadata to partners across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a technical field with OO programming experience.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and DynamoDB or similar non-relational databases.
• Cloud experience with AWS or similar platforms.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and NodeJS knowledge.
• React and Docker proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and a good team player.
