CaptivateIQ is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Design to lead the Product Platform, the shared capabilities that power our product suite. You will guide a design team, set strategy, and personally tackle high‑leverage problems while maintaining hands‑on involvement.

You’ll partner with Product and Engineering to evolve the platform, drive consistency, and champion AI‑native design across teams. This role blends leadership with hands‑on craft in a dynamic, enterprise‑facing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience with complex, systems-level or platform products.
• 3+ years managing product designers, including senior ICs.
• Portfolio showing strong product craft and systems thinking.
• Strong visual and interaction design judgment with a high quality bar.
• Experience setting design strategy across interconnected product areas.
• Experience building, evolving, or governing a design system.
• Cross-functional leadership influencing Product and Engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of product designers, including senior ICs.
• Set the design strategy and quality bar for Product Platform in partnership with Product and Engineering.
• Operate as a player‑coach, shaping high‑leverage problems while enabling designers.
• Establish and maintain a high bar for interaction and visual design across complex surfaces.
• Apply systems thinking to platform decisions and identify cross‑product implications.
• Represent Design in roadmap, prioritization, and architectural conversations.
• Build alignment and drive decisions across teams through influence, not authority.
• Use research, data, and customer signals to inform platform strategy and validate decisions.
• Drive adoption of Quotient as the shared design system across CaptivateIQ.
