Job summary

Wonderful is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own a core area of its product. You will collaborate with engineering and product leadership to shape what is built, how it works, and how it feels. This hands-on IC role will grow with the company, with opportunities to build the design team in your area as we scale.

You will lead design conversations, influence the roadmap, and mentor peers to raise the bar for design quality across complex, enterprise workflows and AI-powered features.

About the role

We're looking for a Lead Product Designer to take real ownership of a core area of our product. You'll be working closely with engineering and product leadership, shaping what we build, how it works, and how it feels. Your decisions will directly affect the product and the business.
This is a hands-on IC role at a fast-moving startup. As we grow fast, the role will grow with you, and you'll help build the design team in your area over time. The problems we design for are still new, with no playbook yet, so we need leaders with a genuine interest in AI and in what's new in the field.

What You'll Do

• Own design for a core product area, from strategy and problem framing to detailed UX and final polish.

• Be a key voice in product decisions: influence the roadmap, challenge assumptions, and push for what's right for users.

• Mentor designers around you and help raise the bar, with the opportunity to build the design team in your area as we grow.

• Set the bar for design quality and establish the processes that keep it high as the team grows.

• Design complex, data-rich enterprise workflows and make them feel simple.

• Talk to customers and translate real enterprise needs into elegant solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of product design experience, with a track record of shipping complex software products (B2B/SaaS/enterprise experience is a strong plus).

• Proven ownership of a product area or design domain, with real influence on product direction.

• Experience mentoring designers or leading design work, with an appetite to grow into team leadership.

• Strong systems thinking: you can untangle complicated workflows and design for scale and edge cases.

• You move fast and get things done: you thrive in fast-moving environments, ship quickly, and aren't afraid of ambiguity.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you articulate design decisions clearly and bring others along.

Nice To Have

• Experience designing conversational, voice, or AI-powered experiences.

• Experience hiring and building a design team from the ground up.
