Job summary

Markel seeks a Product Owner for Oracle P2P to lead the Finance P2P applications, ensuring configuration, data integrity, and end-to-end process support. You will partner with stakeholders to define priorities and a forward-looking product roadmap while enabling AI and automation opportunities.

You will oversee run-the-engine operations, drive process improvements, and ensure controls across P2P with IT collaboration and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Financial Systems or a related field preferred.
• Experience with a leading P2P technology suite (Oracle Fusion preferred).
• Familiarity with AI and automation across the P2P process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Finance product owner for Oracle P2P applications, ensuring configuration, functionality, and data integrity support the end-to-end process.
• Create a forward-looking P2P product roadmap aligning business needs with technical feasibility.
• Oversee testing, UAT coordination, and issue resolution across P2P changes.
• Drive continuous improvement across end-to-end P2P process from requisition through payment.
