Job summary

Markel Corporation seeks a Product Owner for Oracle P2P to lead configuration, data integrity, and process improvements across Procurement, Accounts Payable, Expenses, and Cash Management. You will collaborate with IT and Finance to align with strategic roadmaps and implement AI/automation opportunities within the P2P suite.

The role partners with the Senior Transformation Lead and reports to the Director, Financial Systems & Technology, owning day-to-day P2P configuration and overseeing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Financial Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Oracle P2P or similar finance systems is advantageous.
• Experience with BI tooling and financial reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own Oracle P2P product ownership, ensuring configuration, functionality, and data integrity across the end-to-end process.
• Develop and manage a P2P product roadmap aligned with Finance goals and stakeholder priorities.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing, UAT, and issue resolution across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, governance, and data governance across the P2P suite and related controls.
• Partner with IT, Procurement, Disbursements, Treasury, and Finance leadership to deliver, measure, and optimize P2P initiatives.
